Postpartum • Lactation • Infant Feeding Support
Postpartum Care*
While most patients are under the care of their maternity team until 6-8 weeks postpartum, there are times where a primary care practitioner may be lacking or complementary and alternative treatments may be desired. Naturopathic postpartum support can be a great addition to your healthcare program.
Lactation and Infant Feeding Support*
Dr. Reilander has a special interest in lactation support. She has done advanced training to help support breastfeeding/chestfeeding dyads in this period of life. Naturopathic lactation support can be used in conjunction with other healthcare practitioners and IBCLCs or on it’s own. Referrals will be made when appropriate.
This service is offered during any stage in your feeding journey as well as for families not feeding direct from chest (pumping, bottle, and formula), transitioning to solids, or looking to suppress lactation and/or wean.
