Naturopathic Doctor · Perimenopause & Menopause Care

My interest in hormonal health didn't start in a textbook. I've navigated hormonal challenges my entire life, and I'm now going through early menopause myself. That personal experience shapes how I show up for patients. I'm not approaching this from the outside.

I became a naturopathic doctor because I wanted to offer care that felt thorough and unhurried. I gravitated toward perimenopause and menopause because the same gap kept appearing: women who were clearly struggling, being told everything was fine. Or told it wasn't fine, but given very little that actually helped. Good menopause care is hard to find. That's part of what drew me to telehealth.

The clinical knowledge available now is better than at any point in recent decades, but it hasn't always filtered down to primary care. And while social media has brought incredible advocacy and visibility to menopause, it's also created a lot of noise. Patients arrive having done enormous amounts of research, often with conflicting information pulling them in every direction. That's exactly the kind of
conversation I'm built for.

I hold the MSCP credential (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner), which means my practice is grounded in current, evidence-based standards in hormonal health. I use it to help patients cut through the conflicting information and build a plan that fits their specific picture.

People come to me in a few different ways. Some are looking for access to menopausal hormone therapy with a provider who can evaluate whether it's right for them. Some want a space to ask every question they've accumulated, so they can show up to their primary care provider informed and ready. Others want a longer-term, proactive partner in navigating midlife. All of those work for me.

I've been told working with me feels like "a big hug." I take that as a compliment. This transition is hard enough without your care feeling cold or rushed.
