What is acupuncture?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Acupuncture is a modality that was developed and mastered by traditional Chinese medical doctors but is now it’s becoming increasingly popular in western medical practices. The foundation of acupuncture relies on the principles of yin and yang, the five element theory, and how the organ systems relate to the energy meridians of the body. Western (or “medical”) acupuncture uses modern understanding of anatomy to release trigger points and local muscle spasms that can contribute to muscle imbalances and pain. Dr. Reilander utilizes both approaches to provide the most relief and clinically effective results possible.<\/p>\n

Acupuncture is\u00a0a highly effective form of treatment and can be used for a wide variety of\u00a0conditions such as infertility, hormone imbalances, anxiety, depression, chronic and acute pain management. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Acupuncture treatments are generally 30-45minutes in length but can vary depending\u00a0on the conditon being treated.\u00a0<\/p>\n
